For people who enjoy beautifully-crafted, yet simplistically-designed games you may enjoy this one. For those who enjoy working their way through puzzles that don't always spell out what you're supposed to do, you'll probably enjoy this one too. This game moves slowly but I found it to be a pleasure. If you want hints you're going to have to work for it (but that puzzle is easy). If it's on sale, enjoy!. Clever visual point and click puzzles, nothing that is too obtusely difficult to figure out if you click around and pay attention. Puzzles do not require good sense of hearing, and game gives an overall calming atmosphere. I was able to beat it in one night, but I feel that 6+ hours of gameplay when I paid $2.50 CDN for it is fine value.. Really enjoyed both Leaves games - The Journey and The Return. Graphics very different and refreshing. Game was flawless in terms of controls, ability to manipulate items or puzzles and the puzzles were a good mix of not too difficult and challenging. Very relaxing and enjoyable games. Wish there were more like it out there.. I was very much into it until I encountered a game-breaking bug. If you play this, make sure to save the game before each puzzle in case they break on you. As far as I know there's no skip option on the puzzles, so if they break, you get stuck.. This is my favoriye kind of game. The puzzle were well thought out and kept me thinking without too much frustration.. I am in a very confused mindset right now, this game's quite strange. The puzzles have been fairly straight forward in that they've been about finding\/building a pattern, there's one I didn't get yet (solved 4-5...or so) and I couldn't see where I was wrong but taking a break and then trying again I think will be a good thing. (to see it with fresh eyes)It's my first ever play of something like this and it got me hooked, still haven't got a clue what kind of drugs the dev's used when they came up with the imagery but they were powerful...There's a looking glass that shows you things that just makes the game even more weird and I don't know why it shows the things (yet at least) but I am intrigued to find out what will happen next and I may go for the one they release in a week as well...if I'm sane enough to do anything after spending more time with this one as it is quite a trip.... Great game. puzzle heavy. very challenging. Looking forward to the second one.
